Our first test dog to the line was Fancy and handler Dave Kress ... Fancy came to the line at 7:50 am

Right Flyer (RF) -  Straight to it!

Right Retired (RR) - Straight to the fall area - took a couple turns and then she got to her bird

Left Flyer (LF) -  Wide right line out - through land and water - then was handled when she started heading right up the hill - guns came out to help the dog

Left Retired (LR) - Good line all the way to this bird

Took 23 minutes

The next test dog to the line was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 8:28 am

Right Flyer (RF) -  Straight to it!

Left Retired (LR) - Line was wide of the fall, but he took a loop and it brought him left to the bird

Left Flyer (LF) -  Good line but hunted many loops deep and past the guns - the guns stood up to help the dog find the bird

Right Retired (RR) - Handled when he started going left in the last piece of water

Took 18 minutes

The first test dog to the line was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 2:15 pm

Flyer (F) -  Came in under the arc - drove straight to the bird

Right Retired (RR) - Drove deep and was handled back to this bird

Middle Retired (MR) - Started at the near side and ran down to his bird

Flyer (F) -  Two loops on the hillside and she scooped up her bird

Right Retired (RR) - Wide left going out - turned in too soon but good recognition  - hunted a good size area both left and right before locating her bird

Middle Retired (MR) - Down to the fall area - missed it - went a little too deep - but came back to it - Judges moved this throw so it lands in the 1st pond

Our single test dog up this morning was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 7:02 am

Flyer – Down into the pond - he swam back in the water - up and out, he turned left and right - moved up the levee a few turns and got it

LR – Hunted the corner - exhausting his options on land - he got into the water and swam into the cattails for his bird

Island – Went to the point with the blind and continued across to the cattails - had to be handled down the backside of the point and back to the island - it was a difficult handle to this bird

The first test dog to the line was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 10:26 am

Flyer (F) -  Line brought him across the water and peninsula and in under the the arc - a couple loops and he got it

Left Retired (LR) - Wide left approach - went behind the blind and was handled to this bird

Island Bird (I) - He went out on a similar line to the flyer retrieve and was handled left to get the island bird

Flyer (F) -  Under the arc - had a short hunt and got it

Left Retired (LR) - good line to the area and was back with the bird in short time

Island Bird (I) - Line brought her left to the tules (cattails) and she was handled to this bird

This test is taking between 11-15 minutes per dog

Our single test dog up this morning was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 7:07 am

LF - He came up to the area with cover - worked just left of the fall area and then quickly went back and got his bird

SR - Straight to it!

LR - Out to the area behind the hay bale and just over the ridge keeping it out of sight - got it great job!

SF - Crossed the pond and drove a little wide right and then back for his bird

Long Flyer (LF) - went out to the area and got it!

Short Retired (SR) - handled to this SR bird

Long Retired (LR) - good line out to the area - a quick turn left to get his bird.

Short Flyer (SF) - Went to the area and got the bird

Long Flyer (LF) - went out to the area and had a couple big loops and was handled to the is bird.

Short Retired (SR) - went straight to the fall area and her bird

Long Retired (LR) - drove through the area and was handled back to this bird

Short Flyer (SF) - took a line to the right of the SR station and was immediately handled to this bird also

This test is taking between 8-10 minutes per dog

Initial line took her wide right on the dirt road

*Dog was Restarted* and the new initial line took her to the peninsula

1st whistle at the peninsula

2 in the 2nd water

4 at the point

6 in the 3rd water

1 on land to the bird

Down into the pond right of the bush, crossed to the point

1st whistle to cross the point

2nd in the water past the point

3rd to get in the water off the point

2 more to direct while in the water

got up on the that should have been avoided

Picked up and called back to this side of the point to resend

Lined into the water

1st whistle in the water

2nd on the point

2 more to get off the point

2 more for direction

Got out on the right side and was called back to the point - 2 whistles to get off and multiple whistles in the channel

F - Smack!

MR - Stayed high and wrapped around the back of the mound and found his bird.

RR - Down the left side of the channel - got out not long after he got in and started running - took the cove of water - ran to the tree and was handled because he went to the mound for the MR - lots of whistles to get it, but he got it!

3rd Series Test Dogs

First test dog up was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 7:13 am

Flyer (F) - Dog went right to the area, took a couple small loops and he had his bird.

Middle Retired (MR) - He ran left of the water and made a left curve right to the bird.

Right Retired (RR) - He swam across the first piece of water, crossed the large island going too far right and was handled to go left with multiple whistles. He ended up on the far right shore and the gunners came out to help the dog.

Flyer (F) - Straight to the bird!

Middle Retired (MR) - She ran left of the water and made a large curve to the left, slightly deep of the bird but came in and got it.

Right Retired (RR) - Swam to the island, went across the water, then the land bridge and straight to the bird for a nice job!

First test dog up was Fancy and handler Dave Kress ... Fancy came to the line at 7:15 am

Flyer (F) - Took a left line out with 1 loop into the draw, took a 2nd loop wide left and then out to the area in front of the guns and she got it!

Right Retired (RR) - Out across the field, cut left between the flyer and the blind - went deep, back to the bales - continued back deep - had an extended hunt across the road. Gunners came out to help.

Blind (B) - 3 whistles to adjust the line before the big tree, 3 more whistles to the post, went right of the slot and 2 more whistles to the blind

Next test dog up was Morgan with handler Tom Hawley .... Morgan came to the line at 7:27 am

Flyer (F) - Out to the tent and passed it - came straight back to the bird and got it.

Right Retired (RR) - Out across the field right of the bales - in front of the blind - a quick loop deep right and then quickly out to grab his bird.

Blind (B) - 2 whistles before the tree, 2 more to try for the slot - but just missed it a bit on the right, 2 more whistles to the bird.

This test is taking approximately 5-7 minutes per dog to complete.
