31. FC-AFC FORD’S GLIDE BY, “Clyde,” BLM, Jack Sheets
Clyde and Jack came to the line at 12:10 am
F – Clyde was reheeled as the birds were being shot. After being sent he hunted left and right - had several large loops under the arc and to the left - then he came back in and got the bird.
MR – Went out by land and got the bird with a direct line.
RR – Good line through the water and a few loops on land to the left and to the right of the tree - then he was on to his bird.
30. WHITEWATER’S KLONDIKE GOLDRUSH - DAWSON, “Dawson,” BLM, William Barstow
Dawson and William came to the line at 12:02 am
F – To the area and 3 quick - short loops to the bird.
MR – Wide left on land and took 3 loops left of the mound and then back over to the mound and got the bird.
RR – Good line in the water and land and then he went straight to the fall and his bird!
29. FC-AFC LAIRD’S CYNFUL SEASIDE GAMBLE, “Betty,” BLF, Chris Parkinson
Betty and Chris came to the line at 11:54 am
F – Perfect
MR – Out to the front of the mound and moved right - went around the bushes to the bird.
RR – Down the channel - out on the left point into the lunging water - swam to the island - up and over - swam to the land up and back in and then out again on a perfect line to the bird.
28. FC-AFC DRY CREEKS TRU BLU, “Trudy,” BLF, George Metka
Trudy and George came to the line at 11:44 am
F – Perfect line to the bird!
MR – Ran high on the hill - got to the mound and turned right - 1 loop at the brush and then to the gap and her bird.
RR – Down the middle of the channel - started to angle left - lunging water off the point - across to the island over the next point - drove straight to her bird.
27. FC-AFC WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN QA2, “Wilma,” CLF, Mark Huffman
Wilma and Mark came to the line at 11:35 am
F – Straight to the bird
MR – Into the first water and then on land - left slightly - up the hill - then straight to the fall area and her bird.
RR – Good line through the water and on land - a loop or two around the tree and then on to the bird.
Handle 26. AFC JUST WATCH MY BUNS QA2, “Lacey,” YLF, Mike Moroz
Lacey and Mike came to the line at 11:25 am
F – Good line out - made a few loops left and right and then back to the bird and got it!
MR – Good line - through the corner of both pieces of water and continued with this great line on land directly to her bird.
RR – Her line out took her through the water further left of the middle bird - kept heading left on land and was immediately handled all the way to the RR bird.
25. FC-AFC BAYOU TECHE EXPRESS, “Ryan,” BLF, Lauren Hays
Ryan and Lauren came to the line at 11:11 am
F – A few quick turns and she got it!
MR – Into the channel and out on the left side - crossed the point and into the cove - up and out of the water and hunted in front of the mound left and right and then over the top to get her bird.
RR – Up the middle of the channel to the island - back in the water and out - she went straight to her bird.
Handle 24. FC-AFC RAZOR’S BUCKSHOT, “Shooter,” BLM, Larry Vaske
Shooter and Larry came to the line at 11:00 am
F – Excellent!
MR – High on the hill to the left of the mound - circled behind and then got the bird!
RR – Into the center of the channel - angled left into the water - over the point and off to the left - into open water and turned left between the 2 marks - kept going left - a great whistle and the dog was handled to the RR bird.

Wind has picked up a bit here now and it is now blowing directly into the handlers faces.
Handle 22. FC-AFC BLACK LABS MATTER II, “Brody,” BLM, John Schneider
Brody and John came to the line at 10:48 am
F – Quick flyer retrieve!
MR – Into the water - over the point and to the island - Took a hard left in the water and went to land and ran to the Middle Retired bird.
RR – In the channel - his line was left of his previous line out - headed left on land toward the MR again - handled immediately and was handled all the way to the RR bird.
Handle 21. AFC LONE STAR’S RAMBLIN RANDY, “Randy,” YLM, David Graf
Randy and David came to the line at 10:37 am
F – Straight to the bird!
MR – Good line through the water and then onto land - had a few big loops left and right of the big tree before going back to the fall area and locating his bird.
RR – Made a loop around the mound but missed the bird and went left and deep - was handled to this bird.
20. AFC RIDGECREST’S JUST FOR A LARK, “Whimsy,” BLF, Betsy Broyd
Whimsy and Betsy came to the line at 10:28 am
F – Straight to her bird!
MR – Very wide left going up the hill - made a loop deep left and then came right and down to the mound, through the gap and found her bird.
RR – Down the center of the channel to the island - over the island and back in the water - out to the shore and went right of the mound for a loop behind it and then out to her bird.
19. FC-AFC A RIVERS BREEZE BRINGS US FAITH, “Faith,” BLF, Wayne Carey
Faith and Wayne came to the line at 10:17 am
F – Straight to her bird
MR – Ran the hillside - came in through the gap and found her bird.
RR – Down the center of the channel - moved left - over the island and got out on the shore on a good line over to the right side of the mound and to the bird.
18. FC-AFC HRK LEXINGTON, “Lexi,” BLF, Kathy Fregelette
Lexi and Kathy came to the line at 10:12 am
F – Good line out to this bird!
MR – Went to the area via land with a slightly wide angle out - ran over the mound and straight to the bird!
RR – Her line to this bird took her through the water slightly wide left - she kept going in the water and then up on the land keeping on a good line and went straight to this bird too!
17. AFC CLAREMORE’S LIGHTNING FLASH, “Flash,” BLF, David Pichotta
Flash and David came to the line at 10:03 am
F – To the area and she made a couple small loops before retrieving her bird.
MR – Good line through the water and onto the land to locate her bird.
RR – Good line all the way through the water and up onto land - had a couple loops on land in the area and she got it!
16. FC-AFC BIG RIVER CHARLIE II, “Charlie,” BLM, Jim Rickoff
Charlie and Jim came to the line at 9:46 am
F – Directly to the fall area and his bird!
MR – Into the pond angled left - got out and carried the line through the cove and straight through the gap to his bird.
RR – Down the channel - moved left over the point and back into open water and swam - continued this line to the left of the blind and straight out to his bird for a nice job!
Handle 15. AFC TARTAN TALISMAN, “Tali,” BLM, Barbara Howard
Tali and Barbara came to the line at 9:40 am
F – Out to the area and he got it!
RR – Ran up just behind the flyer guns - took a hard right and went behind the MR mound all the way to the RR bird and got it!
MR – Ran high to the left side of the MR mound - went way deep in the field to the far mound and then back in - got into the RR mound area and was handled back to this bird at the MR station.
14. FC-AFC MARSHWIND’S TURBULENCE, “Evie,” BLF, Bente Kongsore
Evie and Bente came to the line at 9:32 am
F – To the fall area - took a loop to the right and then came back left to find her bird.
MR – Through the corners of both pieces of water on a great line out - continued on land and went straight to her bird.
RR – Good line through the first water - across the point and to the island landing slightly right - swam to the far side of the shore, after a minute she came back and got the bird.
13. AFC HARDCORE TROUBADOR, “Earl,” BLM, John Russell
Earl and John came to the line at 9:23 am
F – Line brought him in under the arc - a quick loop to the right and then a loop to the left and he found his bird.
MR – Quickly out to the area and he got it!
RR – Through the left side of both pieces of water - reached the land before the big tree and ran all the way to the area and straight to the bird.
12. FC-AFC HUNTLEIGH’S QUINTESSA, “Tessa,” BLF, Bruce Ahlers
Tessa and Bruce came to the line at 9:16 am
F – Perfect!
MR – Ran a line high left - turned right in front to the back and then back in front - wide left - back to the mound and her bird.
RR – Into the pond - skimmed the right island - over the point and continued to swim on an excellent line towards her bird - ran past the blind and out to her bird.
Handle 11. AFC SKYWATCH HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER, “Traveler,” BLM, Ray Vreeland
Traveler and Ray came to the line at 9:05 am
F – Looped wide left with a turn in the middle and he located his bird.
MR – Into the corner of the pond - out of the water and angled left - ran to the left side of the mound - crossed and came back to the front - headed back through the gap and got the bird.
RR – Into the middle of the channel - moved to the left side and continued with that line across to the island - over the island and back into the water - moved more left and away - on land he ran deep up the hill and was handled back to this bird.
Handle 10. FC-AFC BLACKFOOT’S SITTIN’ ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY, “Otis,” YLM, Thierry Mahon
Otis and Thierry came to the line at 8:55 am
F – Straight to it
MR – Good line to the bird and got it!
RR – In the water and went to the right peninsula – back into the water - wide right and was immediately handled back to this bird.
9. FC-AFC SEASIDE’S MOGAN DAVID, “Mogan,” BLM, Rodger Williams
Mogan and Rodge came to the line at 8:45 am
F – Straight to the fall area - turned to the right and got the bird!
MR – Wide left on land but curved around behind the mound and went straight to the bird.
RR – Out on a good line through the water - to the point - turned left and beached before the big tree - out of the water and ran straight to his bird!

8. FC IRONMAN QA2, “Stark,” BLM, Cindy Huff
Stark and Cindy came to the line at 8:36 am
F – Out to the fall area and quickly grabbed the bird.
RR – Into the channel - down the left side and out - then into the cove - cruised down the left shore and got out of the water between the MR and RR blinds and went straight for his bird.
MR – Rand to the left side of the mound - circled behind it and came out with no bird - headed deeper left to hunt - came back and located his bird!
Handle 7. FC ROCKY’S IN THE PARK HOMER, “Hustle,” BLM, Mark Medford
Hustle and Mark came to the line at 8:26 am
F – Excellent!
MR – Flew across the field! Hunted in front of the mound left and right - moved to the gap and located his bird.
RR – Down the center of the channel - veered left in open water and swam left of the island - angled right and got out wide left of the tree - came in towards the MR mound and was handled away to get this bird.
6. AFC YOOPER’S BLACK ICE, “Ice,” BLM, William Tidd
Ice and William came to the line at 8:18 am
F – Straight to the fall area and got his bird!
MR – Through the corner of both pieces of water - straight to the mound - turned right and got his bird.
RR – Good line through the water - then headed toward the tree - running straight back to the bird.
